A very big thank you to Natalie, Emma and Jason, of the House of Yoga in Putney who earlier this year selected the Douglas Bader Foundation as the charity they wished to support.
Over the last few months attendees of their community classes have had the class fee paid with the proceeds going to support a particular DBF project – a barge day for the locally based Queen Mary’s Hospital user group of adult amputees. The amount raised by the House of Yoga has completely funded the hire of two purpose built barges from the Bruce Trust, transport to and from their base in Berkshire and packed lunch for all.
The House of Yoga is a contemporary modern day Hot Yoga studio where students can connect to a great community vibe. They believe their style of Hot Power Vinyasa Yoga is accessible to all, you just need to show up and get ready to be challenged both physically and mentally.
Their vision is to empower a yoga community who are willing to transform their lives both on and off the mat. Whether you are new to yoga or you have a regular practice, the team at THoY are committed to you having an amazing experience.
