Representing Team Bader Amputees, our 2 Paracyclist Ambassadors, Wyn Jenkins and Maggie Biggs, have been taking part in Cycling Time Trials. Wyn, an above knee amputee, and Maggie, a below knee amputee, have been turning in some impressive performances, sometimes in the face of severe adversity be it weather- or saddle-related!
Here are a couple of reports chronicling Maggie’s achievements to date. We expect the less experienced Wyn’s efforts to be recognised very soon…

PARACYCLISTS OPEN PLAY
For a change all competitors faced the same distance, 23 miles on an undulating course, the K48/23, and it was the Paracyclists who opened the play and it was multi-champion Rik Waddon (Para T) who once more claimed the first place when times were adjusted, his 49-43 putting him 51 seconds ahead of Adrian Jones (PH-MAS Cycling) while Nicholas Fairfield (City RC Hull) was third, a further 2-20 behind Waddon. Waddon and Jones finished first and second overall in the TT Series last season. Maggie Biggs (Team Bader Amputees) was first of the women in fourth.
