Bader Braves Go Kart Adventure

Bader Braves Go Karting Day at Oasis Karting Project, Stockwell, London

8th April 2015

A very excited group of Bader Braves and their families arrived at the Oasis Go Karting Project for a Bader Braves trial Go Karting Day.

In the safe hands of Oasis Karting organiser JP and his group of helpers, mechanics, Marshalls and their range of single and double go –karts the Group selected their racing suits, helmets and were fully briefed on safety and flag identification and in groups of three set off for a life time experience.

Our good friends at Kart Force – Karting for Injured Troops – had been in the day before and fitted an adaptive steering wheel on to one of the karts enabling everyone to participate.

As each group went off the next were prepared and on we went taking a break for lunch and finishing mid-afternoon.

A few red flags, warning flags, went up but the Bader Braves really threw themselves into the day demonstrating skills beyond their years.

A huge thank you to JP and Oasis and Kart Force, Charley and Robert of DBF and our Bader Braves and their families for being there.

The trial went through with Flying Colours and we will definitely return for more.
