Our Bader Braves Young Aviators Days season 2019 has just come to a close with a fantastic event at City Airport & Heliport, Manchester. Bader Braves Flying Day Coordinator, Keith Delderfield, has written a wonderful report on a thoroughly successful year when even the weather was kind to us most of the time!
You can read his recap – a whistle stop tour of the British Isles by airfields! – by following the link below. The link will open as a pdf so you can download and print it as a souvenir of your special day!
We look forward to seeing our Braves again in 2020 and to welcoming new faces to the Bader Braves tribe.
I echo Keith’s thanks to the wonderful Flying Clubs and Airfields and their staff and helpers and, of course, the pilots. You all work so hard and give your time so generously to ensure that our Braves and their families and carers have a memorable and positive experience – often their very first time in a light aircraft. Without you our Bader Braves Young Aviators Days simply wouldn’t be possible. Thank you for all you do.
Our 2020 schedule will be published some time in early spring. See you then….
