NHS Prosthetic Service Review – A Chance for Your Voice to be Heard

We are grateful to OPUS (Orthotic Prosthetic Users Stanmore), a voluntary user group working alongside the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Trust for bringing the following NHS Review to our attention. As they say, it’s a chance to have your voice or collective voices heard…

OPUS would like to draw your attention to fact that the NHS is carrying out a Prosthetic Service Review

This is our chance as users to have our voices heard. You can register interest in the review  as an individual or as a User Group by clicking on this link Rehabilitation & Disability CRG

Representatives from the Service Review have confirmed their attendance at the next OPUS committee meeting on Wednesday the 11th October @ 2:30 P.M in the Prosthetic Rehabilitation Centre, RNOH, Stanmore.  OPUSwould like to invite any interested parties to this committee meeting. Please email OPUS if you wish to attend as places may be limited due to the size of the venue. A register of interested parties will be kept.  We would suggest that all User Groups invite the Service Review Representatives to any meetings planned by using this link england.npoc-trauma@nhs.net .

If you are unable to attend the OPUS meeting on the 11th October but wish to submit a statement or suggestion to the Service Review Representative, please email OPUS and we will raise points in the meeting. A copy of the minutes of the meeting will be emailed to those who registered an interest or attended the meeting.

We as a Community need to work together for the benefit of all Prosthetic and Orthotic users.

Thank you in advance.
