Does it give you the PIP?
We have received several queries about how the revisions to the Personal Independence Payment will affect amputees.
We followed a trail to get the information and are indebted to Steve McNeice and Sam Gallop at the Associated Parliamentary Limb Loss Group (APLLG) for their help and direction and Richard Morrison at the Limbless Association (LA) for providing the definitive answer. We’re also grateful to Gerry who brought the need for this information to light and hope that this clarifies the situation for him and for other amputees.
You can see an LA article regarding the latest position relating to bilateral amputees by clicking HERE
You can also read their PIP REPORT in full by following the link. Information will open in a separate window.
You can check out other LA Information on their Website
Do let us know if you’ve got any further queries or have been or are likely to be disadvantaged by the PIP revisions. We love to get your feedback.Tags: amputee, APLLG, Associated Parliamentary Limb Loss Group, bilateral amputee, LA, Limbless Association, Personal Independence Payment, PIP, Richard Morrison, Sam Gallop, Steve McNeice
