It was great news to hear from Marie Truscott that she and her friends from Digby’s Sports Bar & Restaurant had successfully completed the tough Mirador Challenge.
Marie and co. took the challenge on Sunday 8th April to raise funds for the DBF and one other charity and did incredibly well to finish 5th out of the 29 teams that took part, completing the challenge in a very impressive 5 hrs 39 minutes – a great achievement over a very hilly route.
In the process, the team raised over £1400 for the DBF and we are extremely grateful to them all for their efforts on behalf of the charity. A big cheer to them and to all at Digby’s!
