LimbPower will be hosting the 2016 Junior Games at Stoke Mandeville Stadium, Guttmann Rd, Aylesbury HP21 9PP on 1st October.
Entry and Payment forms are available on the LimbPower website, (http://limbpower.com/index.php or click on the logo above), and these should be completed and returned to LimbPower by Friday 25th September 2016. You can also download a form by clicking HERE.
LimbPower are working to provide sporting opportunities for young and newly disabled children with physical impairments. Junior Games is open to young people aged 5-18 with a physical impairment. The games will provide the opportunity to receive coaching in a number of sports. The Sports on offer will include Wheelchair Basketball, Track and Field Athletics, Handcycling, Sitting Volleyball, Tennis, Zone Hockey, Golf, Football and Archery. We also have a climbing wall at this year’s event. (Please note that this programme is subject to change.)
LimbPower launched the Junior Games in 2013 to offer children and adolescents an opportunity to engage in physical activity and sports in a safe and friendly environment.
Siblings of participants are welcome to come along and where possible will be included in the activities. Please complete a registration form for each sibling who is attending.
The sessions will take place on Saturday 1st October 2016.
Accommodation, if required, will be available on Friday night at the Olympic Lodge, Stoke Mandeville Stadium. You will need to book this directly with the venue and not through LimbPower. http://www.stokemandevillestadium.co.uk/accommodation/
Entry per child (includes packed Lunch) £10.00
LimbPower will not be providing lunches for parents or siblings who are not registered. Meals and refreshments can be purchased at the canteen in the stadium.
