Matthew Kirby, co-founder of The Arctic One Foundation, who as recently posted (use link below to read) will be undertaking a cycle ride in early June to raise funds for the DBF and The Arctic One Foundation jointly, has contacted us wearing his Arctic One hat.

Arctic One will be running a Summer of Sport from the 28th May to 2nd September and he’s keen to offer the opportunity to as many people as possible to take part.

Arctic One is a fantastic charity and we do hope that you will join them at some point during the summer and support their Fundraising efforts.
We believe that everyone has the ability to enjoy sport in some way and that everyone should be given the opportunity to take part in sport. The Arctic One Foundation

Which runs from 28th May to 2nd September 2018
To take part the cost is £10 and we will provide a bespoke Arctic One Medal to all those that complete their Challenge which can be one of the following:
1. Complete 100 Hours of Sporting Activity (This can be any Sport and any Activity or Combination) you just record the time)
2. Run or Walk 200km
3. Cycle 1000km
4. Swim 50km
5. Undertake a Fundraising Challenge for Arctic One to help us raise our target of £15000
6. Take part in 2 Arctic One Events this Summer (28th May – Festival, 28th July – Festival, 27th August Chiltern Swim-Run, 2nd September – Junior Para Tri.
If anyone completes 3 of the above we will provide you with some Arctic One Clothing. All you will need to do is pay your £10 and record your activity. We will provide a form regular updates and a few spot prizes.
Our Target is to be able to open our ‘Forward Motion’ Grants applications again in September and to do this we need raise the money required around £15000 and you could be part of this Team to achieve this.
