MANFIT Coffee Morning – A Chance to Discover What MANFIT’s all About…

One of our previous Bader Grant Recipients of the Month, the excellent organisation, MANFIT (Manchester Amputee Fitness Initiative) held their coffee morning on Thursday 19th April and Margaret Tyson has kindly sent us a couple of photographs.

MANFIT is for any amputee/prosthesis user (over 18 or accompanied by an adult) in the Greater Manchester area and these coffee mornings are a great way for users of this very friendly and pro-active group to meet up in a relaxed and supportive environment and, if newcomers, to discover the many things that MANFIT can offer. They are always looking to add to their  activities for amputees, for instance, new on their agenda is Wheelchair and Amputee Tennis and cycling sessions.

Their swimming group were filmed on Monday by the English Federation of Disability Sport and we’ve been promised a link to the video when it’s edited. Watch this space!

You can find out more about MANFIT by visiting their website:  but, even better, why not visit them in person!
