New Clothing Business with Amputees in Mind

A fantastic idea by Rob Franks, one of our Bader Grant Recipients. Rob, an above-knee amputee is a keen wheelchair boxer known as the One-Legged Warrior. It turns out he is also an entrepreneur!

Like many good ideas it seems, Rob’s arose as a result of lockdown; feeling a bit fed up, he started to dream up funny and positive amputee sayings. People he showed them to wanted to buy them on t shirts and the new venture, Warrior Apparel UK, was born.

The new kids on the block for both amputees and able bodied folk.

At the moment Rob is mainly concentrating on t shirts, hoodies and gym vests for adults and children, and also sells water bottles printed with his slogans, but he is constantly adding to his range and the designs available. In fact, if you can’t find what you’re looking for, Rob is happy to make up a bespoke design at no extra cost. He is proud of the fact that all his products are made and printed in the UK using the finest material and ink.

Rob believes that humour makes the world go round and his t shirt slogans reflect that, his positive nature and fighting spirit and could hardly fail to raise the confidence of amputees who wear them.

The prices are very reasonable and a bonus is that while supplying quality goods, Rob is also benefiting a cause close to his heart as profit from each sale will go to the Youth Cancer Trust.

Here is a small selection of what you’ll find available at Warrior Apparel UK but there are loads more. Visit the website by using the link at the bottom of this post to see what’s on offer and find out more.
