We’ve been contacted by Ellarose Smith from Medic Mentors, an organisation which helps aspiring students to get the experience they need to go to medical school. Please note the short lead time below and apply promptly if interested.
Ellarose writes:
“Good afternoon,
We are currently running an international programme of live virtual work experience during this pandemic.
We are looking for a male amputee who would be willing to assist us in this teaching opportunity, which is broadcasted to around 8,000 students and has been recognised by the BBC.
The session is this Saturday 7th February, in Ashby-de-la-zouch LE65 1AH, and would need to be there for 8.30am.
They will be asked to act as a patient in which real doctors and other team members will examine them. All the doctors are qualified professional, and there are may COVID safety precautions in place like distancing, PPE, and sanitation. We will have consent forms and picture release forms and can arrange a travel permit if needed.”
