Great news from Bader Grant Recipient, Sam Smith, who plays Powerchair Football for England.
Sam and the England squad won the European Nations Trophy in Finland at the end of May. A very proud moment for Sam and the team and we were delighted to have been able to support him towards this great achievement.
Sam now has another goal and ambition to focus on as, being the European Champions, England have qualified for the World Cup in Australia in 2021. Lots of football to be played over the next 18 months!
You’ll be hearing more from Sam as I’m delighted to report that he has kindly agreed to be our next Bader Grant Recipient of the Month. An ideal opportunity to learn more about Sam and the exciting and very competitive game of Powerchair Football.
