There are many ways you can help the Douglas Bader Foundation to support amputees, people with limb difference and those living with physical and mental challenges.
Most of our funds come from donations. These can be general or ringfenced to support specific initiatives or campaigns. We will also occasionally help to raise funds for campaigns we support such as the hugely successful LiMITTless Appeal.
To find out more and to make a donation, please visit our donations page.
Our friends and supporters have had some amazing, creative ideas and adventures over the years helping to raise much needed funds for DBF.
We have seen physically challenged people alongside non disabled organising bike rides, treks through mountains and more. The only limit is your imagination!
Fundraising is very important to our charity and we welcome and support any fundraising ideas.
We are always looking for news article and stories for our website and social media pages. If you know of any inspiring or heart warming stories about people overcoming physical and mental challenges, or helping others to do that, then please let us know.
If you know of anyone who has been helped or could be helped by DBF, then please do get in touch.
If you find that the content of this site is missing anything which you feel will help those we support, their families, carers and healthcare professionals, please let us know where we can find the information. We’re always grateful when people take the trouble to contact us and to be able to update or add to the advice we can offer.
If you’ve come across an aid or device that you now feel to be useful or even invaluable in your own situation, we’d love to hear about it and spread the word.
Sharing is caring! You can help DBF simple by sharing pages from our website or sharing and liking our social media posts too.
